Last year I had to face the frustrating truth:
Posting on social media + Facebook groups wasn’t enough for me to build a full-time photography business.

I used to think getting booked meant posting more, growing my following, and hoping the algorithm finally decided to show my work to the right people.

Spoiler: that ain’t it. 😂 (not if you want to start booking ASAP at least- don’t get me wrong, there are slow and steady ways to grow)

When we moved to Utah, I had to rebuild my photography business from basically zero. No network, no referrals, no reviews, and barely any relevant portfolio.

Bookings were almost nonexistent and I didn’t have time to wait. So I decided to try Meta ads and the result was nearly instant!

Within 30 days, I had 100+ inquiries and $10k+ in revenue. 🤯👏🏼🥳

That experience completely changed how I thought about marketing my photography business. I just wish someone had taught me this YEARS earlier.
