a full circle moment with this girl. I photographed her over a 10 years ago for her high school senior portraits in Montana! sweet angel has followed me all these years and just after I moved to Oregon she messaged me that she lives in Portland and would love if I would do some classic engagement photos for them near their home!

so grateful. she’s the first of a handful of previous clients who live in Oregon reaching out. feeling so lucky. we wandered trails near their home for their engagement photos in Portland. catching up and walking their dog. the perfect night. excited to be exploring new locations after moving!!!

tell me - would you wander into the water in your dream wedding dress??

she was determined to live it up in this dress which I highly encourage. whatever that might look like. this is it’s time to shine, have the best time in it. water is a force. healing. can make you feel connection to each other and Mother Earth. so after sunset they stepped in and it was the most beautiful way to end their weekend celebration.

She wore a thrifted dress, they shared vows off the side of the road, there 4 closest people there, along with a bottle of whiskey to keep them warm, and it felt like everything the world was ever meant to be. Simple. Real. Perfect. 🫶🏼

When a pilot marries the love of his life the guests throw paper airplanes. Seriously how sweet is this!

This was the most beautiful summer ceremony there ever was. A light haze from wildfires that created the dreamiest light. The biggest smile on the faces of these two waiting all day to be together finally. And the asymmetrical hydrangea arch was stunning. And don’t forget the most important guests - Huck + Maple their pups dressed for the occasion.

The color palette for the day was inspired by SpiceWorld 😍 Do I need to say anything else?!?!

I will though. A wedding isn’t just a love story between two people—it’s a living, breathing collection of every beautiful soul who shows up for them. And I am obsessed with documenting every soul.

You can truly feel every moment in these photos. So grateful for these two and so proud of this set. What a beautiful day!!!

vows along an alpine lake without a soul in sight. the world is yours. along with a million mosquitoes not seen in photos 🤣 but they were absolute champs laughing them off and taking the day.

we started in their hotel room along one lake with final touches, meeting on the trail for a first look and then hiking back to another alpine lake to share their vows, exchange rings and honestly just wander and soak it all in. I’m obsessed with days like this and couples in no rush just embracing what presents itself to them. makes for the most beautiful day full of incredible memories ✨

Am I a morning person? For my couples… Yes!

I’m actually not a late night owl either. I’m more of a morning person just not the type to rise before the sun. But when my couples ask for sunrise, it’s a yes!

Morning elopements all look different but there is something really special about starting your day hand in hand as the sun first graces your faces. And then celebrating all day vs waiting til later for the party to start.

And if you’re planning your vows in a national park it’s one of the quietest times of the day with visitors. The air is crisp and fresh as the mountain tops light up and it feels like the whole place is yours. Highly recommend!

Also was dabbling in some film last summer, go me! Will be continuing that this year too!

Eloping but also having fam along… is it possible? S**t ya it is!!!

These two wanted the full wedding experience but also the intimacy of eloping. And that’s what they did. We planned the most perfect first look in a mountain field + spent hours taking it all in. Bears, moose, no rush, driving + stopping as we liked. They shared the most beautiful vows privately on a cliff over an alpine lake.

After hours of fun we headed back to the hotel to meet up with their family and friends + headed into another valley in the park for a simple ceremony, group photos + more exploring on our own before steak dinner + drinks down the road.

Wondering if you can balance eloping and intimacy but also have your closest family + friends there too…. Proof you can do it 👆🏼

Haley was so worried that Mav was going to hate photo. That he’d just be so nervous and annoyed and they wouldn’t get great photos.

Took me less than an hour and Mav was announcing to their friends + fam that I was his new best friend.

Not only did they both have the time of their lives… as they should on their wedding day. They’re photos are dreamy + full of so much true emotion 🤍

a wedding at summer camp?! these two planned a long weekend bringing all their friends and fam to summer camp on Flathead Lake. taking over ever cabin, camping spot, every canoe, dock, the basketball court. it was AMAZING!

at first I was like oh my goodness this is gonna be epic or a total disaster lol. old school summer camp, hot ass weather, smoke filled skies, beautiful humans, down for anything + all ready to party. we couldn’t go wrong. swipe + seeeee! 😍
