We’re excited to officially unveil our most recent project—a fresh visual identity that reflects who we are, what we stand for, and the community we serve.
This new design represents growth, care, and connection, all at the heart of our mission. We’re proud to share something that not only looks beautiful, but also carries deep meaning behind every detail.
Artist’s Description
This logo was thoughtfully designed to reflect the heart and mission of GOL through meaningful, yet simple visual elements.
At its core, the trees represent generations—a symbol of growth, resilience, health, and longevity. Their arrangement forms a heart shape, reinforcing themes of love, care, and protection that are central to GOL’s purpose.
The heart-shaped apple symbolizes both the compassion GOL provides and the tangible resources it offers—much like a tree provides their fruit. The trees include leaves in varying sizes, shapes, and shades represent diversity and abundance, highlighting the wide range of support and opportunities GOL brings.
The font was intentionally chosen to be clean and highly readable. The 501(c)(3) designation is presented in a straightforward, accessible style to emphasize transparency and trust.
Smaller design details add depth without overwhelming the viewer. Gentle variations in shading create a sense of dimension while preserving simplicity. The segmented trees, which also show growth, commonly associated with construction, Lego’s, or many depictions of growth in media. The segments also show that there is still growth even when imperfect. A difficult idea to grasp for many when facing problems of their own.
About the Artist
As a 17-year-old emerging digital designer, with strong interests in creativity, Brody Greer has a drive to express through art. He’s recently discovered the impact art and design can have on the world, leading him to become a part of that impact. Greer strives to give emotion and purpose to the declining interest in media, as he finds it to be the most meaningful medium in today's world.
Based in midwestern Ohio and graduating in 2027 with a Multimedia trade, Greer has a year of professional experience but roots that go deeper. He looks forward to building a name for himself and making an impact with his work, hopefully inspiring others to pursue their dreams—no matter how out of reach it may seem.
