I’ve got so much respect for anybody willing to chase their dreams and do something out of the ordinary.. it’s just really fun for me to watch people do what they love.. special thanks to my friend for telling me to go to this concert and helping me sneak my camera in.. still in awe from that evening

A or B?? Basically landscape photography is my favorite.. and that usually includes water, mountains, or something scenic because I basically pack my camera along on any adventure, hike, camping trip, day trip that I go on.. I’m not necessarily going out to shoot photos.. I’m going out because I enjoy being in wild places and the camera tags along by my side.

Recently though, I’ve been enjoying the cityscapes.. It’s the same concept just in an urban setting. Get out, hike around, put a few miles on the shoes and find a few shots along the way.

Photography is simple & that’s why I like it.. Also as I get older I really value the thought of stopping time if even for a moment… Feels pretty great.

32 almost 33 🙄😬 been thinking a little more about as you get older how come you get more risk averse? Like the natural progression is to get older and become more comfortable, set in your ways, and less likely to take risk. I’ve tried to train myself to still lean into risk, calculated risk for sure, and for me mainly with my career. I’m not interested in thrill seeking risk. Although I applaud you if you are. I want risk with my career because I want the things come alongside it. Generally speaking more risk, more upside. Although that’s not a one size fits all saying.

I want risk because I want the upside. I want to be uncomfortable (at times) because I know that’s where real growth comes from. But I still feel as you get older those things are harder to lean into. I don’t have any real answers if you’ve read this far. Maybe you do? I just know I’m trying.

04.27.21 really left speechless after getting a few of these recent photos into Lightroom.. I have a hard time “ranking” what’s best and not best.. but I am just a bit speechless that this right here came out of my camera.. after doing this for a while I’ve just realized that conditions like these where everything lines up.. these conditions are so fleeting.. I guess you just keep being out there and once in a while you get tossed a bone.
