Did a fun 30th birthday photoshoot! In college I took a history class about grave stones and cemeteries, I didn't know I signed up for it at the time, but it was one of the coolest classes I have ever taken. Grave stones are historic and tell the story of someone's life. They are pieces of history and are works of art.
P.s. We were very respectful and left everything as we found it.

F&S connection Session
I am so grateful for wonderful clients who trust me to guide them and hold space for them to connect on a deeper level.
Kids ages 10-25 are still figuring out who they are outside of their family unit so it can feel like they are pushing their parents away, when in reality they just want to be seen for who THEY are not who we want them to be or who we see them as.
I created these sessions specifically for moms with kids these ages because as a mom of 12&14 year old I know how disconnected they can feel but also see what cool humans they are becoming.
Then as a daughter I wish I did something like this with my mom because as much as the photos are for the mamas they are also for the kids. They will be a memory your kids can hold onto even after you're gone and as my mom ages I just wish I had more photographs of fun bonding moments.

People ages 10-25 are still finding out who they are so it's easy for them to rebel or push away from their parents, they need to find their identity. Yet as a parent it can feel challenging and lonely because all you want is to spend time with them. To hold on to the moment just a little bit longer.
With connection sessions I'm hoping to do that. Create a moment you and your child can hold onto. To slow you and your child down to really notice each other. To share fun memories and truly connect, without phones.
I will be guiding you along the way as I take some photos in hopes that these photos can help remind you to take in the moment. To really connect to the person in front of you.

Parents, I know the pre-teens and teenage years are hard. Your kids feel like they are pulling away, so I want to create a time to do some guided healing meditation/reconnection activities with your pre-teen/teen.

You Wana know why I enjoy photography?
It's because it captures a moment in time forever.
You will have the details of that second forever.
Photos are one of the only ways to do that.
Why do I enjoy photographing people?
Because each human is imperfectly perfect. Because someone's essence, vibe, or spirit can be held in that photo. Because humans are so beautiful especially when connecting with someone or doing something they love.
