A moment frozen in time at 1/1500sec. A Little Egret just fractions of a second after a failed strike at a fish, with an amazing impact crater in the water. It’s one of the wonders of still photography and especially bird photography for me. When shooting fast action, you never know exactly what you are going to get, and sometimes, the results can be surprising or beautiful. It’s an art form with an element of serendipity. But you can increase your chances by being prepared, and most importantly, getting out there and shooting. Hope you all are having a great summer!
