Abby ✨

One of my 2026 brides, Abby, recently scheduled a bridal session ahead of her wedding day at her venue, and it could not have been a more beautiful day for portraits. Between the sunshine, the setting, and Abby herself, everything came together so perfectly.

Bridal portraits are such a special experience because they give brides a chance to truly envision how they’ll feel on their wedding day while also giving them the opportunity to trial their hair, makeup, and overall bridal look ahead of time.

One of my favorite parts of wedding photography is getting to walk alongside my brides throughout the months leading up to their wedding day and capturing each season of the experience along the way.

I recently collaborated with my friend Sarah to create refreshed imagery for her brand, and this session was such a joy to photograph.

Between her florals, vibrant color palette, and creative vision, every detail came together beautifully to reflect her bright and welcoming aesthetic.

“Let them praise His name with dancing.” ✨🩰

It was such an honor to partner with CrossMovement Dance this year as they prepared for their Night of Worship.

What started as a photo project quickly became one of the biggest shoots I’ve ever taken on:

• 114 dancers
• 42 hours in the studio
• Over 13,000 photos captured
• Countless hours spent editing
• Over 100 galleries delivered

Needless to say, this one kept me on my toes!

Watching these dancers use their gifts to worship was a privilege to document, and I’m grateful to have played a part in preserving these moments. 🤍

Family portraits can make such meaningful gifts for the people we love most.

The Estep siblings reached out to me to capture these portraits as a surprise gift for their mother, and it was such a thoughtful and heartfelt session to be a part of. Creating memories like these that families can cherish for years to come is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph headshots for the cast of Dilworth Players’ “Guys & Dolls” 🎭

The production team envisioned a timeless black-and-white style to match the artistic aesthetic of the show, and it was such a fun creative direction to bring to life. Performing arts headshots call for a more expressive and cinematic approach than traditional corporate portraits, and I loved leaning into that style throughout this session.

Wedding Wednesday

I’m so excited to start a new series for my 2026 weddings—sharing a deeper, more personal look into each day, almost like a little behind-the-scenes story.

This one was especially meaningful to me… because it was family.

My uncle remarried to his beautiful wife, Hope, and I had the honor of not only witnessing their day—but documenting it. There’s something so different about photographing a wedding when you’re personally connected to it.

The entire day took place in Winston-Salem at a barn my uncle built himself—which made it even more special. Every beam, every detail, every corner of that space held meaning. It wasn’t just a venue—it was a place created with intention, and then filled with love, laughter, and family.

Before the ceremony, I got to spend time with Hope and Jason capturing portraits together, along with sweet moments with Hope’s son, Gavin. Those quiet moments before everything begins are always some of my favorites—and this time, they meant even more.

The weather was perfect, the energy was full of joy, and the entire day was a reminder of what weddings are truly about: family, connection, and celebrating love in its purest form.

Being trusted to capture a day like this—especially for my own family—is something I’ll never take lightly!
