I had the opportunity to attend “Raise The Roofs” at Harlinsdale Farm this past Saturday, August 22, and capture a few photos of Rex Nance as he represented the Tennessee Walking Horse during the horse parade presented to guests.

This year marked the 15th Anniversary of the annual fundraiser benefiting Friends of Franklin Parks. Held on the grounds of historic Harlinsdale Farm, the evening included the horse parade, a silent auction and dinner, followed by entertainment on the lawn.

With Harlinsdale’s deep roots in Tennessee Walking Horse history and its beautifully restored historic barn, it was especially fitting to see the breed represented as part of the evening.

I was so excited to capture a few photos of this sweet pair before they make their way to the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration next weekend for the Lead Line division!
