Pics from the Food Truck Fly-In at the Griffin-Spalding Airport (6A2) hosted by the City of Griffin, GA - Government. The weather was a bit blustery, but they had a good turnout.

First time using my new kit of Nikon D7500 and Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR lens, so I was on a bit of a learning curve from the D5500 and 200-500mm kit I usually use.

Had a persistent "black spot" in later pics that I didn't even know was there until i looked at all of the pics.

Pics from Sunday at Classic Jet Aircraft Association - CJAA's "Jet Blast 2026". Some flights left to beat the incoming weather. Some continued with training and certification, especially with the S.211 earning a new rated pilot.

Unfortunately, I could only stay until midday due to a prior engagement. But Sunday capped off one hell of a weekend of euphoria from awesome aircraft and amazing teams flying overhead. Thank you Classic Jet Aircraft Association - CJAA for allowing us to be there, and I hope to see you all again next year.

Happy Veterans Day to all of my followers that served. Thank you for liking my posts and following my page.

My grandfather (pictured with my grandmother) was the reason why I chose to join the military. He was my hero, and I wanted to emulate him. He served with the 28th Dividion in the Pacific theater. My stepdad served in World War II also. He was stateside serving in Fort Belvoir, working with the German and Italian detainees that were shipped stateside. As for myself, I served 26 years total, retiring in 2016. If you asked me if I would do it again, I would tell you yes. while there were trying times, all of my duty stations have been good and I served with a lot of great people. I really don’t feel it when people tell me “thank you for your service“, because I volunteered with my own free will. For those that joined due to the draft, I have the utmost respect for you. They were forced to heed the call. To them. I wholeheartedly say “thank you”. All the rest of you brethren that volunteered to serve like myself. I say, thank you too.
