Different faces. Different personalities. Completely different stories.๐Ÿพ

The soulful eyes. The goofy expressions. The dogs who seem to have a little mischief planned. The ones who make you laugh without even trying.

This is what I love! Not a perfect pose. I'm looking for the things that make a good unmistakably theirs.

And this weekend, I'm bringing that experience to Pet Palooza at the World Equestrian Center

This is Togo, a 3-year-old Siberian Husky who apparently believes that talking back to his parents is a perfectly reasonable form of conversation. ๐Ÿ˜‚

He's goofy, affectionate, playful, and always ready for belly rubs, his favorite squeaky ball, or a full-speed zoomie session around the yard.

And those eyes? Just look at them! ๐Ÿ˜

Every dog brings something different in front of my camera and I just LOVE that! It's not just about capturing a beautiful face. It's about creating an image that reminds you exactly who your dog is โ€” the expressions, the personality, and all those little quirks you love.

That's what I'll be bringing to my

โœจ Meet Keevah โœจ

Keevah was adopted from Citrus County Animal Services last September, and she celebrated her 4th birthday last Saturday! ๐ŸŽ‚โค๏ธ

Her mom describes her as sweet and loving, goofy, a little lazy (although she definitely gets her zoomies!), and a girl who LOVES her toys.

But it was her eyes that first caught her dad's attention. ๐Ÿฅน

And after photographing Keevah last week, I completely understand why. I'll be sharing more images from her session soon.

Those eyes. That personality. That sweet, goofy little face. These are the things that make our dogs ours โ€” and the things we wish we could hold onto forever.

I'm sharing Keevah as I get ready for something new for JRubacha Photography:

I'll be bringing my studio experience to World Equestrian Center Ocala on October 17 & 18, creating quick, fun portraits for dogs and their people.

If you've been thinking about getting beautiful artwork of your dog, come see me at Pet Palooza!

A new business deserves more than a few phone snapshots or AI images. It deserves images that show the personality behind the brand.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a branding session for my stepdaughter as she launches her new hair salon in Connecticut. From the space itself to the details, the tools of her trade, and the woman behind it all, we created images that feel like her and tell the story of this new chapter.

Branding photography isn't just about getting a pretty headshot. It's about creating images you can use to introduce yourself, showcase what you do, build your website and social media, and help potential clients connect with the person behind the business.

And yesโ€ฆ I'm a very proud stepmom. โค๏ธ

Congratulations on your new adventure Kayla! I can't wait to watch you make this space your own.

Meet Uno... โค๏ธ

At 21 months and 100 pounds, this handsome American Akita has already packed a lot into his young life!

He's a show dog who knows when it's time to be professional โ€” competing in Conformation, Rally and FastCAT, with Scentwork hopefully coming soon.

But at home? His mom says he's very silly and loving and he's a total Momma's boy as I witnessed in the studio as well.

That's one of my favorite things about photographing dogs-There is so much more to them than the perfect pose. I want to capture the personality behind those beautiful faces.

Uno was one of my recent Pet Palooza Preview dogs, and he was every bit as impressive in person as he looks here. And yes... I'm still convinced that at 100 pounds he really must be hiding another 75 pounds of fur because he looks so much bigger. ๐Ÿคฃ

I'll be bringing my Fine Art Pop-Up Pet Studio to Pet Palooza at the World Equestrian Center October 17โ€“18.

Limited 10-minute sessions are available for dogs attending the event.
