One of my favorite parts of photography is getting to work with other creatives and seeing their personalities shine through their businesses. 🤍

As a mom herself, she knows firsthand how much goes into preparing for a new baby. NestMama was created to help families feel a little more prepared by creating beautiful, functional spaces for their growing families.

From nursery design and organization to setting up feeding stations and getting your home ready for those first few weeks postpartum, she helps take some of the overwhelm off parents’ plates so they can focus on what matters most: welcoming their little one. 🫶🏼

We captured her branding session right in the comfort of her own home, and I loved getting to know more about the heart behind her business.

There’s something special about being able to support other moms who are building businesses of their own. Getting to tell their stories through my lens is one of the reasons I love what I do.

There’s something beautiful about allowing yourself to be soft, vulnerable, and a little sexy all at once. 🤍

Motherhood changes so much about us, but it doesn’t take away our femininity. You can be growing a whole human, embracing the vulnerability of this season, and still feel confident, beautiful, and desirable.

Sometimes, it’s about letting go of the fear of being seen and allowing yourself to feel beautiful in your own skin.

And what a beautiful thing to capture, especially when these memories become a gift for someone you love.

Because you deserve to feel beautiful in every season of womanhood.

Birth is such a quiet kind of loud.

The room can be quiet, but there’s so much happening all at once. The deep breaths, the little whispers, the tears, the anticipation, and then that first cry.

It’s one of those moments you’re completely in, but somehow it still goes by so fast.

That’s one of my favorite things about birth photography. You don’t have to think about capturing anything. You can stay right there with your baby, your partner, and the people you love, knowing someone is there to hold onto all those little moments for you.

The way you looked at your baby for the first time. The hand you were holding. The little details you didn’t even notice in the moment.

These are the things I want you to be able to come back to years from now.

To the mama who keeps saying, “I don’t think I’m ready for maternity photos…” 🤍

Maybe you don’t feel like yourself right now.
Maybe your body has changed in ways you never expected.
Maybe you’re looking at yourself wondering where the confidence you used to have went.

But mama… you don’t have to feel confident to be worthy of being photographed.

You deserve to remember this version of you, too.

The growing belly.
The little movements.
The way you’re carrying life.
The softness.
The strength.

The woman becoming a mother or becoming a mother all over again.

You may not see what everyone else sees when you look in the mirror. But I promise, there is so much beauty in this chapter.

Your maternity session isn’t about looking perfect.

It’s about giving yourself permission to be seen. 🤍

One day, your little one will look at these photographs and see the woman who carried them before they ever knew your face.

Don’t let insecurity convince you that you shouldn’t document one of the most incredible chapters of your life.

Nothing feels more like home… until you meet the one that adds to it.

Sometimes we take advantage of the accessibility to brush their newborn feet and hold their newborn hand.

But do we really realize how time freezes when you hold those newborn photos?

When we hit a new milestone, reflections often times sound like “I miss when they were little”.
