Demands of a mother:

To grow life.
To bring it earth-side.
To heal while still showing up.
To run on little sleep and still somehow pour from a cup that feels empty.

And then there’s breastfeeding: beautiful, exhausting, demanding.

Being needed in a way only a mother understands. Your body no longer fully feeling like your own, yet somehow becoming home for someone else.

Asking so much of us physically, mentally, emotionally and still, we keep going. Even in the exhaustion, the touched-out moments, the ache, the sacrifice.

Our bodies deserve more grace for all they quietly carry.

This is the difference of every season.

Sometimes it’s growing a baby while still being everything for the little ones already in your arms.
Sometimes it’s chaos, snacks on the floor, little hands pulling at you from every direction, and wondering how your heart keeps stretching wider.

And the beauty in this, is every child gets a different version of you.

One may know you in your first season of becoming.
Another may know a softer, steadier version of you.
Another may grow up watching you juggle it all while still showing up with love every single day.

Each chapter asks something different of you, shapes you differently, and teaches you something new about yourself.
And somehow, through all the growing, stretching, and changing… your children still get the most real parts of you:

-your love
-your comfort
-your presence
-and the way you keep showing up for them through every season. 🤍

Motherhood was never meant to look perfectly posed.
Sometimes the toddler is running wild, the baby is overstimulated, and nobody wants to smile at the camera.

And honestly? Those are often the moments I love most.

Because the “uncooperative” child is usually the one pulling you in for comfort, wrapping their arms around your leg, asking to be held, or simply being fully themselves. That’s real motherhood.

Raw, emotional, imperfect, and deeply beautiful.

The magic isn’t in perfect behavior ; it’s in the connection that still shines through the chaos. 🤍
