e God completes creation in seven days, to Revelation, where seven churches, seals, trumpets, and bowls mark the fulfillment of God’s plan. The book of Psalms, one of my favorites, eloquently captures the human experience through poetic storytelling, expressing worship and illuminating God’s greatness, affirming His faithfulness in times of trouble, and reminding us of the centrality of His Word. The book of Psalms compliments the theme of spiritual completenes as it depicts every facet of human emotion and experience—joy, sorrow, gratitude, and lament—bringing it all before God in worship. It reflects how God’s faithfulness sustains us through every trial, as the psalmists pour out their hearts and cling to His promises, demonstrating that true peace and perfection are found in His Word. Recognizing the unique anointing God placed on my son’s life when he was growing in my womb, I chose to name my son, Sevyn Psalm. He inspires me daily, prompting the creation of a brand that beautifully blends feminine and masculine elements while embodying creativity, declaration, and most importantly, Faith. The all in one business model of 7Psalm Studios, is crafted with intricate detail, reflecting bold Faith and gentle Grace, celebrating the richness of life’s journey while inviting others to explore their own stories through creative expression. With an adventurous spirit and a passion for capturing the essence of special moments, my desire to serve others knows no bounds, whether through the services that I provide or the places I am willing to travel. My culturally rich background fuels my quest for authentic creative expression, and I take pride in curating a safe space for individuals from all walks of life to truly be themselves. My journey into photography began in 2018 when I joined the Air National Guard as a photojournalist. These experiences have taught me the power of storytelling and I believe that while pictures may be worth a thousand words, the context behind them reveals the profound testimony of those depicted. Through unique angles, thoughtful framing, and diverse editing styles, photography is not just a craft for me but a vessel for honoring others. As I transitioned from military life to building my own vision, I knew that I wanted to preserve this art of storytelling in my work. I approach each milestone, event, and session with the belief that candid moments hold the real magic. Meticulous, punctual, and detail-oriented, I strive to capture fleeting moments that articulate the untold stories of those in front of my lens. For me, the passion lies not just in creating beautiful imagery, but in the privilege of documenting genuine connections—whether it’s the belly laugh from a kid you could barely get a subtle smile out of earlier, or the teardrops rolling down a groom's face as he admires the love of his life walk down the aisle. It’s the big, round eyes of the infant lying on his mother’s chest, admiring her strength and resilience to give him life as she wipes the sweat from her browns and kisses her baby's forehead for the first time. It’s the gathering of families in autumn's embrace, celebrating community while I strive to capture that perfect moment—where no one’s eyes are closed! As a veteran, I’ve honed my professionalism in environments that demand solidarity, equipping me with the skill to quietly document the profound moments of loss in a room filled with grief. My journey as a retired athlete—once aspiring to the WNBA—may not have led me to a professional court, but it ignites a vibrant thrill within me to capture the determination of those still pursuing their dreams, allowing my younger self to bask in the excitement of their successes. As a first-generation college graduate who finished Magna Cum Laude at The University of Kansas while balancing life as a single mother to a newborn, I see senior portraits as more than a milestone; they represent opportunities, a testament to overcoming challenges, and a celebration of accomplishments that many strive for but few achieve. Driven by a desire to challenge social norms and celebrate individuality, I embrace diversity and inclusion as core values. Rooted in my Faith, I strive to infuse each interaction with love and compassion, allowing the light of my beliefs to illuminate my path.
