Let's add a little humor (and suffering on my end). There's so much that goes into the goal I'm working on. It's all on my phone from the crowd. I still spend hours editing and praying for a decent outcome because concert photography is the big dream. However, sometimes things absolutely don't work in my favor. Example... my height, the stage, the drum riser. The drum riser for Escape the Fate is my mortal enemy. I can say this confidently as I had the same outcome at Warped DC last year. How many photos of the drums did I take at both? A good bit. How many allow me to see Robert's whole face? The answer is NOT A SINGLE ONE. Is it discouraging? It can be. Robert (and any drummer) is part of the music to, so I obviously want photos of him along with everyone else. Is it amusing? Yes. Because I'm personally victimized by my own height. The goal? Find the humor in the shots you don't manage but still be proud you tried anyways and post them even if you don't like the outcome.
