Here's a short video to show what Michael's Angel Paws does and the different service dogs they help to train for people in need. Not everyone can afford to pay for the trainings or is able to owner train, as Blue and I are doing.

Michael's Angel Paws is working with us to train Blue (and me) as service dog. He is exactly where he needs to be at this time in his life. In just the last couple of weeks he has excelled and with Stef's guidance, we work on what is needed at 'that moment in time'. Sometimes we take a step backwards to be sure Blue understands exactly what is needed of him, sometimes he's ahead of the game.

I went through an application process to be approved for Service Dog training, which included a personal interview and home visit to be sure I was the right candidate for a service dog. I was lucky enough to have them help me choose Blue based on his temperament, and on the day following his arrival home, Stef was at our door instructing me on how to start this process. It's been every week since then, and both Blue and I love our trainings!

Because we are training to include mobility assistance, Blue will be fully trained as an adult, around 18-24 months. We need to be sure his body is fully grown and his mobility assistance does not hurt his young puppy bones. We have almost hit 6 months, and he is already providing me assistance with tasks.

I pay for this on my own. I can afford it. There are plenty who cannot, and any help is appreciated. Thanks for looking! LOVE my Blue boy...mostly love his willingness to work toward our goal of a Guide Dog!

Wow - It's been so long since I have been on my own site! Why? Well, I have had some vision issues - and it has affected my photography. Sad for me. And it has taken me this long to get up the guts to even visit the page.

I now have vision loss. It truly sucks! Alas, it is my new reality. But do you know what I can still do? I can still remember how to change settings on my camera, I can still tell a person how to pose to look best in front of the camera, I can still rely on my camera to focus on (what I think is) the eyes, I can still see beauty in imagery - even if it is like looking through frosted glass. I can still see - even if with low vision. I am still a photographer. I will continue to move forward and try.

My photography focus has had to change - in fact, it was nonexistent for so long. But no longer. I am going to get behind my lens whenever I can. I don't know what I will capture, but I am going to not stop doing something I love because I have had a change in my life. I am adjusting.

The images I will post going forward should look different. That's okay. They are still mine. Follow me on my journey to find my eyes again. My new imagery will not have Tracey Ford Perry, but rather Blind Eye as my watermark. Might as well be truthful.

I will be asking for models - know that I will not be the same person who shot you before, if you choose to step in front of my camera again. But I promise I will do my very best, as always.

If you've dared to read this far, I thank you. And, thank you for following me at all. Life is hard. Life isn't fair. Life is way better than the alternative. I love life, no matter what she throws at me....always have. Thanks for joining me.

Easter Mini Sessions this past weekend were a hit!! Thank you to all of you who came out to play with the animals (Petting Zoo 2 U) and to Jaimie of IotaFrank Photography and her team for helping a fellow photographer in her time of need by capturing the images from this shoot! Thank you to Brenda West for the same, and Adam and Karissa and Haley for wrangling those animals!!!

Modeling pics are so much fun for ME!!! Here's a pic we took while Mom was grabbing the flat iron (I think). The hair was too much fun not to go take a pic with. AND I think this one would get noticed for sure! lol Alas, we will probably use a 'normal' pic for final headshot. Thanks for letting me play around!
