2025 was a doozy.
Busy and chaotic—but also full of love and deep gratitude.
In 2025, I had the honor of supporting 70 birthing families, along with postpartum, lactation, and feeding support clients — with photography woven throughout it all.
Of the 70 births I attended as a doula:
• Two sets of twins, both born vaginally 💪
• 49 first-time parents
• One repeat client 🤍
Seventy births is a lot. I couldn’t have managed that volume without being part of a team and a rotating call schedule.
But 2026 will look a little different—slower, and much more intentional.
As I step into this new year, I’m excited to move away from the team model, where I often met clients for the first time as I walked into their birth space, and return to the intimate doula–client relationships where we choose each other because it just feels right.
I am endlessly grateful to provide for my family while doing work that brings me so much joy and meaning.
