The cool part about filming with the Insta 360 camera is the ability to film in Super 5.7 K with a superior ability to preserve details and amazing color reproduction. I like to attach the camera to the drone to give the viewer a larger of field of view and to capture more details of the scene. However, flying a drone in turbulent weather can be a challenge to get steady footage. Insta 360 twin edition has flow state technology, which keeps the footage very steady and smooth. Insta's follow feature keeps your subject locked in the center of the frame regardless of what other obstacles get in the way. However, if your desire is to fly a drone with an Insta 360 camera attached to it make sure that the lens guards are removed prior to the flight because the side of the lens guard will appear in the shot. The lens guard will also reflect the sun's rays in the lens creating more distortion.

I've been using Insta 360 camera. The wide angle of view with the 360 camera is pretty nice. I've been using it on my drone. The thing to get to used to is the additional weight of the camera attached to the drone it makes a difference in how agile the drone behaves and being able to control it smoothly. Like when landing the drone it takes longer to bring the drone down. I guess maybe it's due to the resistance of the wind pushing the drone and the attached 360 camera up in elevation.

first time using the Insta 360 camera on a DJI Phanmtom 4 Advanced drone

I recently purchased this Insta 360 camera and wanted to see what would happen when it's attached to a drone like the Phantom 4 Advanced. Although the conditions were very windy, the 360 camera was able to hold a steady shot. I'd like to use both the Phantom 4 Advanced camera and the Insta 360 camera, therefore all of my line of sight angles would be covered. Unfortunately, this time I am only able to use footage from the Insta camera.
