‘The Tulip & Vrouw’

My wife recently asked me to draw her a Dutch girl for her next tattoo. So I made it my mission to not only deliver on that request but to make it much more than that and completely personalize it for her. From the Disney (her favorite place on Earth) inspired character (adult version), background and landscape to adding many other of her favorite things in life. Starting with animals, birds are one of her favorites as she has owned many of them. There are two to honor her deceased mother and grandmother. The beach is her other favorite place on Earth. Who doesn’t love a good sunset after all? Not to mention rainbows! The Holland reference is to celebrate her heritage, hence the Vrouw (woman), with her sparkling ruby high heeled clogs. Her healthy appearance as well. I think it was
Sir Mix-A-Lot who said it best folks…”I like BIG butts and I cannot lie”! All topped off with a fairytale style oval gold frame to make it even more girly. I think I checked all the boxes off on this one. She totally deserves it…love you babe!
