AI images are becoming so common that sometimes it feels like real photography is slowly losing its place. And that’s something that genuinely weighs on my heart.

For photographers, this goes much deeper than new technology. It’s about seeing real moments, moments that took hours, miles, patience and presence — quietly overshadowed by scenes that were never lived, never felt, never experienced. All those early mornings, frozen fingers, silent hikes and waiting for the light to do something magical… suddenly competing with something created in seconds.

There’s a sadness in that. Not anger, just sadness. Because photography has always been about connection. About standing in a place and feeling it. Hearing the wind. Smelling the cold air. Watching the sky slowly change and knowing that this exact moment will never happen again.

Every image I share here is a real photograph and a real moment. A place I stood in. A light I witnessed. A second in time I experienced with my whole heart. Nothing imagined. Nothing generated. Only what was truly there.

AI can create beauty, but it cannot recreate the feeling of being present when a scene unfolds. The quiet. The anticipation. The gratitude of witnessing something real.

And that is what I will always choose to share. Real light. Real landscapes. Real experiences. Even if the world becomes louder and faster, I’ll keep honoring the moments that are genuine.
