"I'm not very photogenic." This is patently wrong! Most folks are simply not used to doing a pose in front of a stranger with a camera.

Here's something I had a blast shooting yesterday. I started going to Dr. Freeman's chiropractic office for a painful issue in my back a few months ago. We always chat about sports, work, hobbies, etc. Since I've been under his care, my issue is SO much better!!

He was ready for an updated headshot, and we set it up. The Doctor became the client!

Every photographer has to get in front of the camera from time to time. I needed a headshot photo on a white background recently, so I put my skills to work on myself. 👀

Cameras can be remotely triggered to take a photograph with various methods. In this case I set up my mobile studio equipment, and signaled the camera to take the picture with my cell phone. It was like chewing gum, rubbing your belly, and patting your head all at once. I needed to remember my expression, my angles, my posing, and secretly focus and snap the pic with a button on my phone. 😵‍💫

I thought this was a good example to show how quick and easy a professional headshot can be. The video shows you my start to finish setup, which takes around 20 minutes. The actual shooting takes maybe 10-15 minutes. The gear is all battery powered and completely mobile. I can come do this anywhere, like your home or office.
