Did you know that deleting a photo from your Gallery could remove it from your entire collection—even from albums where you wanted to keep it? 😱

Here's something REALLY important to understand!

🖼️ **YOUR GALLERY is where your photos and videos actually live.**

📁 **YOUR ALBUMS do not hold separate copies of your photos and videos.** Instead, they contain *references* that point back to the originals stored in your Gallery.

Think of an album as a way to *find and group* your favorite memories—not a separate place where another copy is stored.

Here's why this matters:

❌ **Delete a photo or video from your Gallery:** It may also disappear from every album that references it.

✅ **Remove a photo or video from an Album:** It is removed from that album, but the original remains in your Gallery and can still appear in other albums.

❤️ **The big takeaway:** If you're organizing your photos, be careful when choosing *Delete*! If you only want to remove a photo from an album, look for an option such as *Remove from Album*.

And remember, removing a photo from an album generally won't free up storage on your phone because the original file still lives in your Gallery.

Let’s talk about one of the simplest ways to protect your precious memories: **the 3-2-1 Backup Rule!** 📸

Here’s how it works:

3️⃣ **THREE copies** of your important photos and videos.

2️⃣ **TWO different types of storage or media.**

1️⃣ **ONE copy somewhere else** — away from your home, just in case!

🔥 Fires, 💧 floods, 💻 computer failures, or even theft can happen when we least expect them. Having a backup plan gives you a much better chance of recovering the memories that matter most.

Here's why it matters!

🖼️ **Your Gallery is home to your original photos and videos.**

📁 **Your Albums simply reference those photos and videos** so you can organize them by vacations, family, birthdays, pets, and all those special moments.

⚠️ Here's the important part: **Deleting a photo from your Gallery can remove it from all the albums where it appears!** But removing it from an album usually leaves the original safely in your Gallery.

Imagine trying to tidy up your albums and accidentally deleting a precious family memory for good! 😱
