December in Tennessee is pure magic. The rural roads are lined with trees that are dressed in rich shades of gold, amber, and deep reds. There’s something so peaceful about these quiet moments where nature shows off its finest colors before winter takes over as the soft rain drops over the leaves and pavement. It’s a reminder to slow down and appreciate the beauty in the world around us. 🍂🌳✨

Been away for awhile trying to get back into it and share some amazing stuff!!
Exploring Tennessee’s hidden gems, one back road at a time.
There’s something timeless about the simplicity of these winding paths, captured in black and white. The contrasts, textures, and shadows tell stories that color just can’t express.
Tennessee’s backroads hold a quiet beauty that’s waiting to be discovered.

Now I say Be Bold, Be Colorful and Be Beautiful but sometimes the simplest of colors is the most expressive, the boldest and the most beautiful! Simple black and white can have the most elegant and bold touches to ones home and life!

The beauty in history. I have always seen such beauty and emotion in older buildings and vehicles, they have so much character and we can only imagine the stories that they know. From the sweet moments of party in the grand hotel of the times or newlyweds driving away with cans tied to the bumper to someone’s first heartbreak or the loss of a loved one. There is such history common everyday life stories that we all go through but we haven’t heard those stories. This history not only makes for a beautiful experience in person but these emotions and stories can make the art captured that much more beautiful, emotive and our imaginations can tell these stories.

While I primarily photograph horses I am also fascinated with old buildings and vehicles. They tell such a story all on their own just by looking at them, I try to capture this when photographing them as I have a rush of feelings and the emotions that are in the vehicle or building from its history.
