Been a while! So I’ve been busy with life. Biggest news is I’m getting married this September. So here is my engagement photo that I took myself, one of the most fulfilling photos ever taken . My job as a museum assistant has been so fulfilling, getting to know the exhibition side of art has been amazing. Over all life has been happier than ever. If you or anyone you know needs photos done for anything always available to shoot!

From a workshop I took in those ranch almost 10 years ago. There true is a magic to this place, something about it just instills a sense of creativity. This I think was my first photo at this location and one I hope to spend more time at.

Ephemeral portraiture. It’s weird to think not that long ago a portrait of yourself was something created on only special occasions to some maybe a once and a lifetime event. Even today photo prints are something usually heals up as something special. Then you have something like these two photos using a we**am and printer to make a badge that will only be used for a single day before they are discarded and forgotten.

Let’s keep up the posts of the small town project. This photo was made in La Luz Newmexico. This small village holds a special place in my heart as it’s the town where I went to elementary school. In fact this picture was taken across the street of the church my parents attended. ’ve seen this small town go from a village in the desert to almost a subdivision of Alamogordo due to both towns growth.
