Ever since the last Field Lines Studio photo walk I couldn't get this location and possible portrait images out of my head. I didn't even really now who I wanted to be in the portrait. Then one day, it came to me. Drew. He was the perfect fit.

You've all asked, "When is the next workshop?" Well, here it is. Not only one workshop, but two on the same day! Saturday, June 27th, pick your choice of an afternoon or evening session.

Step into the past and make something that lasts.

Join me for a hands-on Wet Plate Collodion Workshop here in the Appalachian Mountains—a one-of-a-kind experience rooted in 19th-century photography. You’ll learn the full process from start to finish: pouring collodion, sensitizing your plate, exposing in camera, and developing your image by hand.

This isn’t digital. This isn’t instant. It’s slow, deliberate, and a little unpredictable—in all the best ways.

Each participant will leave with their own handmade tintype and a deeper understanding of this rugged, historic craft. No prior experience needed—just a willingness to get your hands dirty and embrace the process.

Spots are limited to 4. Book your spot soon. Link Bio.

Here's your chance to get your very own Tin Type for a fraction of the cost. We can help each other, I'm in need of Tin Types to showcase at the studio. In return, you receive a scanned digital copy of your Tin Type portrait. It's win win for both of us. Sessions are booked through the website only. Make sure to claim your spot. I have a feeling this limited offer will fill up quick. *Noted, this is for individual portraits only.
