This past October, I spent some time with a friend roaming Michigan. We stopped at a ton of lighthouses. This is Point Betsie Lighthouse along the shores of Lake Michigan. Hoping to get back there this winter for some icy pictures. Even you haven't seen Michigan lighthouses in winter, you should really google some photos. They are simply amazing.

A forgotten Eagle shot from my trip to Coeur d'Alene a couple of winters ago. We missed the 400 plus eagles that were there earlier in season, but there were still around 50 keeping us entertained.

After looking for Sandhills while living out west, I discovered they are plentiful here in Michigan. At this particular park, the cranes will even walk the nature trails with you. Quick edit of one trying to nap near the Nature Center building. Thinking I am going to crop this one in even more.
