I am relatively new to photography and still very much learning about this art form. As the founder of PhiladelphiaDANCE.org and the Dance Journal, photography was initially a means for me to capture and record dance and movement in the Philadelphia region. But it has become so much more. It is the process by which I can explore the people, landscapes and the world around me. When shooting dance, portraits, landscapes, architecture, travel, animals and still life, it has become a celebration of the richness of life and our common humanity.
Camera Currently, I am using the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV as my primary means of shooting. While I have invested in a number of lenses, I tend to mostly use the Tamron 70-200mm F/2.8m, Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8, the Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8, and Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens.
