Personal life post 🌸🌀
I’m going to be doing more of these because I really want to stray away from all of my post being portfolio based advertising. What is extremely important to me is that my clients book me not just for my eye and extensive portfolio— but also who I am as a human being🫶 the photography world can have so much pressure on how you “should” show up in your business, and it can be so easy to fall victim to those invisible guidelines.
So allow me to introduce myself to those who are new here; and re introduce to those who have been around for some time!! (I appreciate you so much)
My name is Adriana, I also go by Adri! I love taking pictures (digital & film!) I’ve always been such a nostalgic person that it only makes sense that I fell into this realm of getting to freeze moments in time for people to look back on. In my free time I’m listening to music; finding new music and obsessing over old songs that are just too good to forget about. I love to dance and move my body, it always feels so good and cathartic to release trapped emotions and energy through movement. I’ve been to a handful of festivals because of how much I love movement; festivals have been a huge influence in my character and I truly believe the festival world has helped me open my heart to being a more open person (very important when society is constantly trying to separate us and childhood trauma causes you to subconsciously wear a suit of armor to protect yourself even when you’re safe)
I’m a lover of fruit (I ate that whole watermelon 🍉 to myself), blowing huge bubbles and watching others get so excited to create massive glorious bubbles, admiring flowers, taking a hundred pictures of flowers, spending time with my love (being silly, having profound existential conversations, making dumb nonsensical inside jokes that make no sense to outsiders, road trips, eating all the yummy food and falling more and more in love every day). I love spending time with my soul sisters, going to awesome art galleries, making art with said soul sisters… the list is infinite ♾️
