This handsome gelding will be available on consignment at the Billings Livestock Horse Sale on July 24th & 25th, and he’s truly one of those horses that’s hard not to fall in love with.

If you’re looking for a horse that can do a little bit of everything, this guy deserves a look. He’s proven himself to be versatile, willing, and eager to please, with a kind disposition that shines through every time he’s out.

On a personal note… I’m really going to miss photographing him. He’s not only incredibly talented, but he’s also absolutely stunning in front of the camera. Wishing him the very best as he finds his next home!

I may have only been able to watch one session, but I left incredibly impressed. There’s something amazing about watching a horse with so much power choose to trust and follow the quiet guidance of its trainer. 🤎

I’ve uploaded a download link so everyone can access the rodeo photos in full resolution unlike the ones posted directly to Facebook! Digital downloads are available for $3 per image, which helps cover the time spent sorting, editing, uploading, and maintaining the gallery. Feel free to browse through the gallery, save your favorites, and purchase any images you’d like to keep or share.

I do want to mention one thing, I was not an official photographer for the rodeo or hired to cover the event. I brought my camera simply because I love photography and wanted to capture the evening for fun.

With that being said, I also had my kids with me, so I wasn’t able to be everywhere at once. I know I missed some competitors and even entire events, and I truly appreciate your understanding. I did my best to capture as much as I could while balancing family and enjoying the event myself.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and shown so much kindness about these images. I truly appreciate every download and every share. I hope you find a few memories you’ll enjoy for years to come. ❤️

I fibbed… 🤭

I couldn’t let the rodeo photos end without giving the pickup men their own post.

You may not always be in the spotlight, but you’re a huge part of what keeps the rodeo running. From looking after the contestants and stock to being exactly where you’re needed when things go sideways, your work often goes unnoticed, but it never goes unappreciated.

Thank you for everything you do behind the scenes to keep both the athletes and animals safe. The rodeo wouldn’t be the same without you.

And that’s a wrap on my LOTRA coverage… at least for a little while! 🤠

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has followed along, shared my photos, and supported my work. It means more than you know.

To all of the bull riders, I owe you an apology. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to come away with any photos I was happy enough to share from that event. I was working with very limited space to move around, and by then my kiddos were more than ready to head home. Rather than post images that didn’t meet my standards, I chose not to post them at all.

I appreciate everyone’s understanding, and I can’t wait to get back out there with my camera again soon. Until next time! ❤️
