POV when you have a family session with your sweet eight month old.

I loved working with this little family for this session! They played and interacted with their son so naturally and were champs in the heat. This gives you an idea of some of the many images you get from a full session with me as a Lancaster Family Photographer. There are definitely more beautiful images to come from this summer session!

You don’t have to take your maternity photos outside. There are so many beautiful moments to capture with a maternity session indoors. This beach session at the Unposed Retreat this spring was amazing! I can’t wait to share color images with you, but there is just something about black and white that holds a very special place in my heart. I’ve adored black and white images since I was a teenager. Sometimes I make images B&W in a photo gallery because the lighting is hard to edit, but often it’s because it just makes you feel things. There is emotion the comes through in B&W that doesn’t in color.

Your session can be full of play and beautiful memories. Chase those babies, play a game, have a snack, discover the nature around you. And above all, smile at your babies. It translates so well on your photos.

We have beautiful lake beaches where we can recreate something just a fun closer to home.

Motherhood changes who you are. It’s hard, vulnerable and beautiful at the same time. It strips down any selfishness you have and rebuilds you into a softer version of who you were before. I personally wouldn’t trade being a mom to my three kids for anything!

Each season of motherhood is beautiful in its own way and deserves to be documented. From maternity to newborn to their first birthday and beyond, your motherhood story deserves to be documented AND PRINTED. Don’t forget that past part. Your kids will thank you later. 🤍
