First session in the home studio with non-friend clients in the books!

Had Yanely & James in today and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better way to break the space in. We kept things low-key and intimate — moody light, clean black wardrobe, and their pup absolutely stole the show for a few frames.

There’s something really special about being trusted to capture people in a space I built from the ground up. Grateful for the energy they brought and excited to keep creating in here.

Today is World Kindness Day — a reminder that change starts with small acts of care and courage.

Over the past year I’ve had the honour of photographing community-driven events with and , capturing stories of resilience, hope and collective action.

In those moments I saw kindness in motion — volunteers handing out wrap-around support, performers lifting up voices, bystanders choosing empathy over silence.

My hope as a photographer is simple: to freeze kindness in frame so we remember it, share it, and embody it.

Yesterday I joined the first annual RISE UP Against Domestic Violence March in downtown Seattle, organized by and with support from 💜

Survivors, advocates, allies, and the Seattle Handmaids protest group came together to raise awareness, amplify voices, and stand united against abuse.

It was powerful to see so many people marching not just for awareness, but for action — for safety, for healing, and for change.

The results are in from our glamour portrait shoot with Finn & Silas ✨

Between the throwback laser backgrounds, dramatic poses, and way too much laughter, this was one of the most fun sessions I’ve had yet.

Proof that photography doesn’t always have to be serious — sometimes it’s about leaning into the ridiculous and making memories you’ll never forget.

Spent the evening hanging out with Finn & Silas and taking some delightfully silly “glamour shots” in the studio 😂✨

Not every shoot has to be serious — sometimes it’s about leaning into the fun, laughing way too hard, and making memories along the way.

This little garage studio is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to create.
