Almost exactly a year before Katie & Jason’s wedding, we met on a rainy Friday afternoon to take their engagement portraits in Boston. Despite the weather, these two brought so much joy to the session, never seeming concerned with whether everything was going exactly according to plan. They carried that same energy into their wedding day, simply enjoying their time together and being fully present with the people they love.

The key to truly enjoying your wedding is letting the day unfold naturally, settling into its rhythm, and allowing each moment to happen without anything feeling forced, overly posed, or contrived. I love getting to document my couples in their element, with their people, fully immersed in the moments that go by so fast.

How lucky am I to get to work with such down-to-earth, genuinely kind, and truly in-love couples? I sometimes wonder how my job could get any better than this, and I’m constantly reminded how privileged I am to work with the most incredible people and families.
