🚨PSA🚨 You may want to read this if you’re an active follower.
Some of you may know that I recently started Crosslay Apparel Company, a first-responder apparel brand built around something much bigger than selling shirts: giving back to first responders when they need it most.
As Crosslay continues to grow, I’ve decided it makes the most sense to simplify the business and bring Jay Robinson Photography under Crosslay Industries LLC.
So, toward the end of this month, Jay Robinson Photography will officially become Crosslay Media. 📸
Don’t worry—I’m still Jay. 🤙🏻
I’ll still be behind the camera, providing the same service, quality, and photos that I’ve worked hard to provide over the years. The name is changing, but the person behind the camera isn’t.
What is changing is what we can build with it.
Through Crosslay Media, I’ll be photographing Lake Havasu and the surrounding areas and turning some of those images into locally inspired apparel. I also plan to be at as many of our local events as possible—documenting our community while using this platform to help support something incredibly important to me:
Different Patch. Same Trauma;
This campaign is about first responders who too often fall through the cracks.
There are responders working for agencies and organizations that simply don’t have the resources or programs necessary to help when the job starts taking a psychological toll. There are also sectors of EMS where even a line-of-duty death may leave a family without the level of institutional support many people assume every first responder receives.
Crosslay wants to help change that.
We want to advocate for the forgotten few.
We want to help change the way overlooked sectors of EMS and emergency services are seen and supported.
And we want to be there for the first responder who has nothing left in their psychological gas tank and doesn’t know where to turn.
That’s what we’re working toward.
So if you’ve followed Jay Robinson Photography over the years, I hope you’ll stick around for this next chapter. Your support—whether that’s booking me for photography, buying a shirt, sharing our work, following the page, or simply telling someone what we’re trying to build—means more than you probably realize.
I’m still Jay Robinson.
I’ll just be doing business under a new name:
Crosslay Media.
And hopefully, we’ll be able to use what we build together to do some good along the way.
Here’s one of my first Havasu Locals shirts. If you haven’t checked out the website yet, I’d be grateful if you took a look.
Thank you all for sticking around and supporting what comes next. 🤙🏻
