✨ PANORAMAS ✨ When I tell other photographers my favorite lens is the 100mm macro as a portrait and wedding photographer, they look at me like I’ve gone bonkers. It’s not a common portrait lens, but at its price point, the versatility, sharpness, and clarity is unmatched. It’s an unpopular opinion but I honestly think it’s super underrated. And one of my favorite techniques with this lens? Stitching together multiple shots to create panoramas. You don’t need a tripod, and as long as you try to keep your hands steady and feet planted, Lightroom can stitch these pictures together pretty easily. This demonstration took me less than 2 minutes total. I’m pretty sure that I looked cray-cray in the moment, taking pictures of everything except the bride and groom, but it’s totally worth it to get this dream shot when there wasn’t a lot of space to walk backwards and without the distortion of a wide angle lens. I love it when my artistic vision comes to life 💕

This is one of the most special weddings I have ever captured- Emma was one of my closest friends when I was in high school, and we were roommates our first year of college. Emma is one of the brightest, sweetest people out there- and everyone can see how Allen absolutely adores her. The relationship they have with each other, their family, and their friends was truly something special to witness. To say I am happy for them, and everyone in the Lunt & Buhler families, is an understatement! I am so beyond grateful that I had the opportunity to capture this beautiful day ❤️

A few highlights from the sweetest family photoshoot last Friday ❤️ when Megan reached out to me, she was looking for a local photographer to take some photos while they were traveling to Lake Havasu from North Dakota for Christmas! Even though it was a bit chilly out, the cloudy day made the light absolutely PERFECT and we captured so much love ❤️ it was such a joy to meet this family!
