Friendly Reminder!!

As fall approaches, so does time change. Sessions will need to begin earlier and end earlier as the sun will be setting. Morning sessions are absolutely a thing (I think I have done two in my entire 5 years of shooting though lol) we just have to plan accordingly!

Busy season just so happens to also have the least amount of sunlight 😅

There’s just something about fall that makes me fall in love with photography all over again. 🍂🤎

The cooler evenings, the beautiful greens, the golden light, and all of the families getting together to make those Christmas memories… it’s truly my favorite time of year to have my camera in my hands.

And as we head into my favorite season, I wanted to share a little reminder with my senior families. 🎓

This year, I’ll be taking maternity leave during the heart of what is typically a very busy senior season. I also won’t be available for the spring senior season, which means my availability for senior sessions will be more limited than usual.

If you have a senior who you’ve been hoping to book with me, please don’t wait until the last minute. I would love nothing more than to be the one documenting this incredibly special season for them, and booking early will give us the best chance of finding a date that works.

I’m so excited for all that this fall has in store—families, seniors, Christmas sessions, beautiful light, and so many memories to photograph before I step away for a little while.

Thank you, always, for continuing to trust me with the moments that mean the most. 🥹🤎

Kind of crazy to look back at these. I had just got my first camera and also happened to be in my very first year of teaching at the same highschool my brother was a senior at. Barely 22 years old on the field and a kid tried to take my camera at the end of the night because he thought I was on the yearbook staff with him 😂

I realized how much joy pictures can bring people and all of his friends started flocking giving me their numbers in hopes that I could get a shot of them under the Friday night lights. All I had was a t7 and a 50mm lens and a dream😆 oh what fun this little hobby has blossomed into!!
