I take photos of all of the nouns, however, people are my favorite. I am curious to know what it is like to be you. I want to capture your story, your love, your freedom - your life as it is, from your wedding, to the tou

ghest struggle, from your business, to your home. I love life and people - they're full of meaning. I like to think of photography as a way for me to bring meaning to moments. Photography is also a way for me to point out the things I love, and share my gratitude. My hope is to spark gratitude in every person I encounter and open peoples eyes to the goodness around them. I drove up to Big Bear for the day the other weekend to be amongst the snow & crisp air. There’s something so invigorating about a “warm” (40*) and sunny day in the snow.
Maybe it’s growing up in Minnesota and memories of snowboarding in a T-shirt with snow-pants and feeling deep joy that spring is coming while also so alive to that moment under the sun. My heart leaps just thinkin’ about it.
Oof, life is dynamic and so fun.

Coming to the end of the year and gotta mention this dream project. I’m so proud of this one and honestly still pinching myself that I got to produce it for a newly renovated hotel in Newport Beach!

Three locations in one day.
Shot on medium format film + digital.

I joined the team at this year and got the chance to shoot a lot more in studio and play with lighting.
I just love a focused time in controlled lighting to really capture someone honestly and beautifully.
Here’s a few portraits from some of my work lately!
+ my favorite thing ever is when someone has a fun time and got to feel beautiful in a situation that could feel really vulnerable and insecure.

Yes, we still have a good amount of summer left here in Southern California, but I can feel that little bit of fall in the air. It makes me a little sad, but mostly it gives me that “life is beautiful because we’re always running out of time” kind of feeling that always comes in the fall.
When I feel that, it’s like I’m both breaking and blooming and I think I like it.
Life is hard, and life is so beautiful 🫶🏼
