CONTENT RETREAT FOR CREATIVES 📷

Ok so I told myself I would wait until March to share the details, but I’m honestly so PUMPED for this. 🏕️

👉🏻 DATE: September 2024 (official date TBA but will be a Saturday evening & Sunday morning)

👉🏻 LOCATION: The Palmetto A-Frame Cabin in New Iberia, LA—just minutes away from Rip Van Winkle

👉🏻 SIGN-UPS will be posted the first week of March!

👉🏻 I am offering 3 optional PACKAGES (details in this post)!
Note: Package 3 (the overnight one) will be allowed for 2 photographers ONLY since the cabin only has 2 bedrooms.

I’d say the top most important & *God-HONEST* lessons I’ve learned this past year have been…
1. God always knows what is best for His children—even when we don’t see or understand what His ‘best’ is yet.
2. Love ≠ unloving yourself at the sake of loving others. Even Jesus had His boundaries!
3. Not everyone is FOR you—& that’s okay because there are (or will be) people that love you for YOU.
4. Some things are only meant for a season.
5. If God led you to it, He will lead you through it.
6. Sometimes, the hardest decision is the best decision.
7. Feelings can be complicated, messy, & feel inconvenient… but there’s always a reason those feelings are there. YOU have to decide what they mean!
8. Good things take time to build/grow, but don’t underestimate God’s ability to bless us INSTANTLY when we don’t even expect it.
9. Each day is a new CHANCE to grow, change, & become the person God created you to be. So PLEASE give yourself grace, patience, & LOVE!
10. Appreciate where you are & what you have right now, in this season.

Whew. I am so thankful to have made it to year 26! My biggest goal is to strive to put God first in everything I do & everything that I am—even within this business! I don’t always get it right… BUT He is so graceful, gentle, & loving.

Here’s to getting older & (hopefully) wiser! 🙏🏻

My first content shoot as a host was a SUCCESS. 🤌🏻

The weather turned out perfectly (aka it didn’t rain on us), the ladies who joined were super sweet & such a JOY to work with… oh, & Emily + Christian absolutely KILLED this shoot.

I’m so excited to host more of these content days in the future. Maybe another elopement one out of state…?! 👀
