This is always a fun and cold way to start off a new year. It was my honor once again to photograph the Caroline County Polar Bear Plunge - 2025.
The Plungers were awfully brave this morning. The water was 35, ice was still on the lake in the corners, and it was really breezy.

Yesterday was the Caroline County Polar Bear Plunge. Lots of brave folks took the plunge so others can stay warm in Caroline County. I always love being a part of this great organization.

Another amazing year! They had raised over $28K at plunge time today and the money was still coming in. This is such an awesome event that gives back to our community. I am so lucky and thankful to be a part of it.

It's that time again!

It’s Polar Plunge time again! This year 7 Caroline County Organizations will be participating in the Plunge and THEY NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT. Please visit Ladysmithruritanclub.com and click on DONATE to help plungers from the following organizations:

Caroline’s Promise
Caroline County YMCA
Ladysmith Ruritan Club
Ladysmith Volunteer Fire Department
St Mary’s Catholic Church
Rehoboth United Methodist Church
Wright’s Chapel United Methodist Church

Each organization has an explanation as to how their raised funds will be used to help those in need in Caroline County. The top five organizations with the most money raised will receive a $500 check from Ladysmith Ruritan Club. The organization that raises the most money will get $250 on the day of the Plunge Plus another $500 for finishing in the top 5!
