This day will never pass without my complete gratitude for what the brave men and woman have done for me and my family. Their and their families greatest sacrifice will never be something we will take for granted. To every single person who has received the flag folded from a loved one who has died in service, our hearts go out to you. Our family thanks yours for everything and we are so sorry for your loss. In a world that seems to have lost the honor know that our family has not. Thank you so much!

Yesterday, I had the honor of capturing Bryan and Melanie's elopement. They checked into a beautiful two-story cabin with a great view of the mountains. It was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Melanie made one gorgeous bride, and Bryan couldn't stop smiling at her. Bryan and Melanie, I wish you all the best and lots of happiness in the years to come. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

We added an addition to our home. Meet little miss Caramel. She has been just the joy we have been needing around our home after the loss of our sweet little Gracie. She is a little over two months and is becoming a good little pal for Elli. Bullet has done fantastic with her in welcoming her into our home. Now Buddy on the other hand isn't so happy about sharing his domain. She has kept him on alert, as soon as he comes down the hallway she is chasing him wanting to play. In time I believe these two will be just fine. I can't wait for all the fun years we are going to have with her and watch my daughter grow up with her.

Last Saturday I met up with the Wade family and we enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery out at Seven Islands State Birding Park. Eric and Cindy have been married for a year and blended their beautiful family. If there is one thing I can say it's Cindy and Eric truly are a great example to these kids of what true love looks like. This family is the true definition of the word family.

Our hearts are a little broken today. We said goodbye to our sweet Gracie girl this morning. This is the tough part about welcoming an older dog, you don’t get the years that you wish you could get. We got to love on this baby for four wonderful years. Even though this is hard, I’m so glad we welcomed her into our home. I’m going to miss you my little sidekick. You were a great dog.

Last Friday I had the privilege of capturing Quentin and Tabitha's wedding in Cades Cove. This couple had quite the day for them. I received a call from Pastor Mike asking if I was available to photograph a wedding that was happening in just a few hours. Their original photographer had a family emergency and could no longer do it. It bothered me so much to know this couple was not going to have photos of their special day that I just had to figure out how to make it all work. I was thankfully running errands and was close to a spot where I was able to grab some equipment quickly and meet up with him to drive out to the wedding. I felt terrible I wasn't dressed the way I would have been for their special day but I had no time to change clothes and get out to them on time. Pastor Mike and I got to their meeting location with time to spare. The stress that Quentin and Tabitha had been feeling just a few hours ago all went away as they got married in a beautiful field surrounded by the breath taking mountains. Quentin and Tabitha it was an honor getting to capture your day and this will be a wedding I will never forget. I wish you many years of happiness, love and a little less stress.
