Somer + babies

I told myself I was only going to choose a few of these but how can I not share all of them!

I have had the honor of being friends with Somer since her oldest was a baby. I have gotten the chance at a front row seat to her life, raising her daughter, growing her son, and now raising them both together. Being a single mom is not easy but somehow she makes it look effortless. She is such an amazing mother. Getting to take these pictures almost brought me to tears. As moms, sometimes we get lost always taking the pictures that we rarely get to be in them. These will live rent free in my head forever. There is something so pure and magical about these. I hope you get lost in these like I did!

Also, The Holmstead Studio is like a slice of heaven plucked right from the sky. These pictures are what they are because of my beautiful models and this ethereal space they’ve created. I could shoot here for hours and hours!

This shoot was near and dear to my heart. I have been photographing this girl (unprofessionally) for the better part of almost 15 years. Honestly, documenting her and her siblings is what first gave me my love of photography. Watching her beautiful smiling face, her mesmerizing blue eyes, and her most contagious giggle will always fill my heart with more joy than I can put into words. Got the privilege of shooting for in his dope tattoo shop. A friend, turned tattoo artist. He had a dream, a goal, an ambition and he chased it until he made it his reality. Watching him be successful doing something he loves is so inspiring and makes my heart so happy for him and his beautiful family (who I also got to capture - they are perfect 😍) Thank you for letting me capture one of the coolest spaces and you in your home away from home. I’m so proud of you
