With F1 back today for the Miami Grand Prix, I figured it was the perfect time to throw it back to a few shots I captured at the IndyCar St. Pete Grand Prix a few years ago.

Thereā€™s just something different about the energy of motorsports, the speed, the sound, the intensityā€¦ itā€™s hard to beat.

Shooting an F1 race is definitely a goal of mine, and I canā€™t wait to capture more moments like these as I continue working in motorsports.

Just a quick look at the trail along Margarette Falls Trail šŸŒ²

Didnā€™t make it all the way to the waterfall, but the hike itself was worth it. Quiet, scenic, and full of those little spots youā€™d miss if you rushed to the end.

Sometimes the trail is the destination.

Exploring the trails around Margarette Falls Trail this week šŸŒæšŸ“ø

We didnā€™t quite make it all the way to the falls, but honestly, the journey was worth it. The trail itself had some incredible views, quiet spots, and that perfect East Tennessee scenery that makes you want to slow down and take it all in.

Sometimes itā€™s not about the destinationā€¦ itā€™s about what you find along the way.

Knoxville from a different angle šŸ“

Captured some fresh aerial shots of the Sunsphere, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city. A couple of these highlight the downtown skyline in the background, and one lines it up perfectly with the University of Tennessee šŸ‘€

Itā€™s always cool seeing how one spot can frame so many different sides of Knoxville.

Hey everyone, itā€™s Cody with Rocky Top Aerial Media here and Iā€™m looking to team up with a few local landscaping companies here in Knoxville.

I want to offer free before & after aerial photos/videos for up to 5 projects. No catch, just looking to buildļæ¼ out some strong local content and help showcase your work from a different angle.

I think this would be especially awesome for something like an artificial turf install, those transformations look crazy good from above.

Only thing I ask is permission to use the footage for my portfolio and social media.

Quick note: I do work full time, so my availability is a little limited, but Iā€™ll do my best to coordinate around your schedule and upcoming jobs.

Marion, North Carolina from a whole new perspective

Took a trip out to visit family and couldnā€™t resist getting the drone up over this beautiful mountain town. Between the rolling peaks, small town charm, and those Carolina viewsā€¦ this place just hits different.

Thereā€™s something about seeing a town from above that makes you appreciate it in a whole new way.
