26.2 miles of Scruffy City grit. 🏔️ Milo’s third marathon was less of a race and more of a slow-motion tour through the heart of Knoxville. From the quiet streets of Island Home to the climb over the bridge, speed was traded for the view. Maybe not the fastest time on the clock but a great time nonetheless. 🏁✨

Talk about a long-awaited premiere 🎬

Years before founding Qualitative Creative, Milo was a UTK student interning in the Australian Outback on a documentary project called Before 1770: The Journey Home.

After years of dedication from the production team, the film was finally released last year in 2024. The documentary explores pre-colonial connections between Indigenous Australians and Indonesians, telling a story rooted in history, collaboration, and cultural respect. Milo contributed as a boom operator on several occasions and received an official Production Assistant credit on the film’s IMDb page.

Experiences like this helped shape the values behind Qualitative Creative and continue to influence the way we approach storytelling today.

It’s been so cool getting behind the scenes to capture what it actually takes to get these projects done. Most people just see the finished result, but they miss the hours of planning, the mid-day pivots, and the specialized gear used on-site. We document the unseen because clients deserve to know they're paying for expertise and grit, not just the final result.
