And now for the bittersweet post I’ve been dragging my feet on …🫣 After 6 amazing years in Florence, SC 🌙🌴, God opened a new door for us and we are now residents in Knoxville, TN🏞️! While we are incredibly excited for new opportunities (both family and career wise), we can’t help but be sad knowing we won’t be as close to our sweet friends back in South Carolina! I wanted to take a moment to say thank you- thank you for every follower, every client, every friend & neighbor, every referral sent my way! Thank you for being there for us, for believing in us, for allowing us to become part of your lives and your special moments. Thank you for trusting me to capture your families, your weddings and your big life events! Your generosity will never be lost on me! South Carolina will always be remembered to me as the place where my photography business really took off & flourished! 💛💚🩵💙 I can’t wait to see what this next adventure brings!

I opened my Google homepage today to see an article from the local news reporting they were beginning the demolition of Ed Young Plantation and my heart sank. 💔 Seeing the accompanying photo with a bulldozer in the side of this beautiful home that was located on a beautiful piece of property wasn’t an easy sight. Maybe it’s because I know what this home meant to their family or maybe it’s because it’s one of the first sights that has greeted us coming home from many visits away, but I wish this story had a different ending! So today I’ll count my blessings that I had the opportunity to photograph some special memories on this gorgeous, peaceful property prior to them tearing it down, knowing full well that anything else built in that location won’t do it justice.

Happy Father’s Day to all the awesome dads out there, especially to who is a complete natural when it comes to caring for our baby girl 🥰 The way you love her, play with her, and care for her is more than I could have ever hoped for in a daddy for our daughter! Nobody ever tells you one of the hardest parts of growing up is accepting that life can put you and your closest friends on different paths, which in turn forces you to make intentional efforts to keep your friendship alive! After 6 long years not seeing my bestie of 23 years, a quick reunion on the coast was just what my heart needed 🥰 I loved getting to spend time with her little family and finally getting to meet their adorable son! 😍 I love that I can now add these pictures to my “favorite memories together” collection! 🥹☀️🌊🏝️

In a world full of “accounts” to follow, one of the most important you could ever invest in is the story and life of Jesus Christ. He came to this Earth to live the perfect life and demonstrate God’s unconditional love for us all. Jesus performed miracles, healed the sick, fed the hungry, and taught us how to love one another and live according to God’s will, so that we could one day live with Him in Heaven for eternity. He wore the crown of thorns. He took the beating. He carried the cross. He took the nails in His hands and feet. He took all the suffering and gave His life for ours. He shed His blood to give us a clean slate. All because He loves us. Our sin has been canceled. Our debt has been paid. When Jesus died on the cross, it counted for YOU! Today we celebrate His resurrection because death and the grave couldn’t hold Him! We celebrate a living God who is alive and present within all of us in the form of the Holy Spirit! ✝️🕊️ I choose to follow Jesus and I hope you do, too! 💜 Happy Easter!
