📸 Reynisfjara, Iceland’s most famous and dramatic black sand beach, is known for its volcanic sand, basalt columns, and dangerous sneaker waves.

Lots of posts this week honoring this popular spot as it has now been permanently altered by severe winter erosion. Simple reminders that Nature herself is so powerful and so unpredictable, and yet all the same wondrous, ever-changing and the true instigator of rebirth, regrowth and renewal.

2022 has been a bit of a blur! But what a blur it’s been. Here’s to another year of doing what I love — and I’m so thankful for new and existing clients. Your trust in my eye to produce and create content is what makes the hustle worth the grind. 📸🎥

It’s so hard to pick just 10 faves. This year my day-to-day included big tourism work, a gig with a great beer company, covering local events and large-scale corporate conferences, sizzling restaurant shoots, merch and model shoots, capturing aerial photos and videos, producing and editing lots and lots of reels, and telling stories about the wonders of Washington’s agriculture.

Cheers to another year ahead filled with bokeh and blur.
