In the 35 years or s
o since she first picked up a camera, Tracy has taken photos in almost every area of photography. Her passion is shooting action such as performing arts (dance, theatre, or concerts) or sports, but she also loves the challenge of making a corporate event interesting visually. Recently Tracy added writing to her business and has now been published many times. Her passion when writing is to bring to light the stigma associated with mental health and invisible illnesses. Furthermore, Tracy.....captures what you are feeling and produces quality, active images; ..knows her craft and works hard to create amazing shots with unusual angles or aspects of an event that others might miss;..loves working with individuals to get the best portrait or headshot possible;..is patient and kind and makes getting your photo taken enjoyable; ...has had her photos and writing published in newspapers, one Lifetouch national publication, and several online publications; ..has two websites that display her work: www.NovelPhotos.com and www.NovelPhotos.Instaproofs.com and has Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Yelp accounts;..is a mental health, invisible illness, and chronic health issues advocate and has a blog - www.SpotlightonStigma - in order to share her own experiences and hope. Tracy loves to help the Birmingham community through photography. Though she is working hard to make her business successful and profitable, her real love is to capture images for those who can’t otherwise afford quality photos and charge a greatly reduced or no fee. She has shot events at local churches and a Rotary Club event held to raise money for a local firefighter who was injured in the line of duty. She took photos and video of a start-up comedy group who needed some publicity work and as well as for other local bands. She took photos of a low-income high school’s band and cheerleaders and gave them those images. Tracy's hope is that her business grows to the point so that she is able to do even more of these types of events for those who can't afford to have a professional capture those memories.
