JPogras Photography My name is Jonathan Pogras, I started with Astrophotography and enjoy all aspects of photography. I now focus on aerial photo and video. I am a total nerd!

I am FAA Licensed under Part 107 for Small Unmanned Aircrafts (Drones), and insured for drone work. My name is Jonathan Pogras. I had a huge desire to get into the hobby of Astrophotography as a kid. Being so young, such a hobby was not a financially wise decision. Later, as an adult, I finally got my first scope in 2018. From there my hobby has grown! The Northern Lights were not that visible last night here in Kingston, TN. But they happened.
Supposedly there were 3 large class eruptions (CME) from the sun. Tuesday was the first eruption hitting us. Last night was supposedly the 2nd one. Why did one solar storm produce a more spectacular show than the other?
I'll explain later!
This video is a time lapse using a DJI Osmo Pocket 3. It's not the best camera to pick up faint lighting. The camera ran all night giving me an 11 minute vid.
