The life of a thunderstorm. When in Oak Ridge I spotted a glorious thunderhead off towards Knoxville. 20 minutes later you can see the towering cloud is diminishing. These pop-up storms can form and then rain themselves out in 15 minutes, dumping a deluge on everything beneath them.

The picture doesn't show well that a new tower was forming just north of the one disappearing.

A large thunderstorm developed over southern Anderson County and Western Knox County and has been almost stationary.

The new bridge being constructed as part of the re-worked intersection at Andes/Ball Camp/Byington-Solway. It's getting there. No more stoppage of traffic when trains roll through will be amazing. Plus that whole intersection is a hot mess.
