The only known Alpine A110 to exist in the USA ///

It was an absolute pleasure to be invited out by Brett Melancon to shoot this gorgeous A110. This car embodies everything a modern sports car should be; light weight, compact, simple. Three key ingredients manufactures are loosing sight of.

So… what did you do this weekend… ///

I want to thank my good friend Brett for bringing me out this past weekend to experience some of my “dream cars” that I hope to make a reality someday.

Plenty of people ask me… which one was your favorite? Out of the set, which one would you go out and buy? As much as I’d hate to say it… as mainstream as it sounds, I would have to go with the Porsche GT3 Touring. I am quite fond of the minimal styling compared to the GT3 RS. Maybe I’m becoming old, but the whole wing / sticker / aero thing on the GT3 RS just isn’t my thing. Another benefit to this particular Porsche GT3 is not only the manual transmission but also the physical buttons and gauges. This day and age, I can’t stand having a screen in my driving experience… Anyways, the GT3 Touring, in my opinion, looks far better than its GT3 RS sister. I’m sure someone can fully educate me on the differences in performance, but I like what I like… I do have to mention the Ferrari F12 fights really hard against the Porsche. You can argue that the Porsche can beat it on most tracks, etc., but I can also argue the GT3 is too… mechanical… too much of a tool… which is a weird statement to make and explain. The F12 has something that the GT3 doesn’t really have, and that is emotion. The screaming V12 emits an absurdly beautiful sound from the Italian gods that not many others can replicate. The car feels less like a tool or an appliance and more like a person with a vivid personality. Thanks for reading my mini rant / Ted talk…. Time to bust my ass for a Porsche…

Guess who’s back …? /// First shoot back in the states… and damn… this one was solid. Currently it’s the only one in the United States as of right now, previous ones have been imported but they were re-exported… any guesses?

ITB NOISES!!! /// in my honest opinion, I believe the best 4 cyl setup for any engine is high compression paired with ITBs for the enthusiast driver… sure a turbo or some insane LS swap would be cool…. But the magic a 4 cyl ITB engine has is absolutely mesmerizing.

Don’t let fear lead you //

Sadly I’m finally back in the States, but fortunately I have a plethora of media to post here soon! As long as I can get time to focus & edit you guys will see some awesome content from my last trip! For now I am considering posting quick footage from my iPhone though…

I miss those 60-70 degree days, I definitely took those days for granted… I genuinely hope this location doesn’t get obliterated due to construction over the winter, I have a slight hunch this location won’t exist anymore. Only to be replaced with generic franchise grocery stores & gentrified coffee shops / restaurants .
