Not your average mini session.

At Olive & Fable, we’re known for creating fine art portraits that celebrate the bond you share with your dog.

Dog Days of Summer is our playful twist on that experience.

The same attention to detail.
The same intentional lighting.
The same artistic eye.

Just with a little more ice cream.
A few more bubbles.
Some oversized lollipops.
And plenty of tongues.

Because not every portrait needs to be serious to be meaningful.

Sometimes the portraits that make us laugh are the ones we treasure most.

This July, we’re celebrating the joyful side of your dog’s story with colorful props, playful moments, and artwork-worthy portraits designed to make you smile every time you walk past them.

Just like summer in the Pacific Northwest, these sessions are here for a good time, not a long time.

Want to know what it looks like to have Olive & Fable at your birthday celebration?

Just ask Rocky.

Rocky invited us to his birthday party at Coby’s Cafe to help capture the day and create something truly special. Together, we planned a custom theme, shared mood boards, and designed the perfect backdrop to showcase Rocky’s personality. Then we packed up our mini studio and brought the Olive & Fable experience directly to the party.

Not only did we create fine art portraits of Rocky, but we also photographed his guests so they could enjoy a taste of the Olive & Fable experience as well. Here are just a handful of the shots we got. Between the portraits, we also captured candid moments, celebration details, and a group photo of everyone who came to celebrate.

These are the moments that pass by far too quickly. The excited greetings, the treats, the friendships, and the joy of being surrounded by those you love.

We first met Rocky when he was just four months old during his very first professional photoshoot. Being invited back to document his first birthday was incredibly meaningful, and we are so grateful to continue telling his story as he grows.

Happy Birthday, Rocky. We can’t wait to see what adventures your next year brings. 🐾

One of the things we love most is capturing the little details pet parents see every single day, and turning them into something that can live beyond a moment and become part of their home.

We always encourage our pet parents to bring meaningful objects, accessories, or favorite toys that feel like their pet. During planning, styling, shooting, and editing, every choice is intentional.

Sometimes people hesitate to invest in portraits because they feel unnecessary.

But so are many of the things that make life feel beautiful.
