Artist Point or the Eiffel Tower. Yosemite or the Dolomites. A PNW forest or an alpine lake in Switzerland. Both are possible — but there are things worth thinking through first.

Cost, legality, visas, vendor work permits, language, seasons — I broke it all down in my latest blog. Domestic or international, by the end of it you will have a much clearer picture of where you belong.

As a travel agent and elopement photographer who has traveled to over 40 countries, helping couples navigate this is exactly what I do. DM me and let's figure out where your elopement should happen. 💌

If you are a 2027 elopement bride who either loves Switzerland or wants to elope somewhere that feels completely otherworldly — look no further.

Mountain tops. Waterfalls. Glacial lakes. Snow-capped peaks. Switzerland has all of it. And what makes it even more special? Most — and I truly mean most — of these locations are easily accessible. No extreme hiking required.

I have extensively travelled Switzerland and I know in my bones that an elopement here would be nothing short of magical. Which is why I am opening 2 spots for Swiss elopements in 2027.

Then DM me SWISS and let's talk about your day. 💌

Switzerland has no shortage of stunning elopement locations — alpine lakes, dramatic ridges, lush valleys, cascading waterfalls. But there is one place that stops every single person who sees it.

The Matterhorn. Reflected in a hidden alpine lake just outside Zermatt that most people walk right past.

If eloping in Switzerland has been on your mind, this is where I would take you first. I have stood in this exact spot and I already know what your photos would look like here.
Two Switzerland elopement spots opening for 2027. Read the blog for everything you need to know — link in bio. And if you're ready to claim one of those spots, my DMs are open.

If you've been quietly wondering whether eloping is a real option — it is.

A marriage license, an officiant, and the two of you. That's the legal requirement. Everything else is entirely up to you.

It's not a lesser wedding. It's a different way of saying I do.

And it can happen anywhere. A lavender farm in Washington. A glacier in Alaska. A Tuesday morning in Tuscany because that was the day that felt right.

Sequim, Washington is one of the most stunning places to elope in the Pacific Northwest. But there are three things you need to know before you plan it.

Light. Golden hour is everything. Midday is flat. Your entire day should be built around that 7–9pm window in July.

Season. Mid-July through early August. Outside that window the fields are either not ready or already harvested.

Permit. These are private working farms. Prior reservation is required — you cannot just show up.

This is what 14 years of knowing locations looks like.

Lavender field elopements photograph unlike anything else. The color, the scale, the scent — there's nothing a venue can replicate.

Here are the three locations I'd take you without hesitation.

Sequim, WA — PNW sunshine in a rain shadow. Olympic Mountains as your backdrop. July is your window.
Valensole, Provence — endless purple rows against the French countryside. Late June to mid July. Nothing else like it.
Willamette Valley, OR — lavender farms with rolling vineyard hills.

I know these places. Save this and DM me if you want to elope here.

There's a small town on the Olympic Peninsula that most people drive past without knowing it exists. Sequim, Washington sits in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains — sunshine when the rest of the PNW is grey, and in July, rows of lavender stretching as far as you can see.
This is where Sarah and Jake chose to get married. No venue contract. No seating chart. Just the two of them, a marriage license, and a location that felt completely theirs.
If you've been dreaming of something like this, my DMs are open.

Planning a minimalistic elopement isn’t about doing less for the sake of it.

It’s about being intentional with what you choose to include.

For most couples, it comes down to three things — the location you choose, the people you include, and the overall experience you want to create.

Those three decisions shape how your day actually feels.

If you’re in the early stages of planning, I’ve broken this down in more detail on the blog. Check my blog for details.

Planning a Utah Salt Flats elopement? Here's everything you need to know before your day. 🤍
The Bonneville Salt Flats are one of the most stunning and unique elopement locations in the US — but the logistics are different from a typical national park elopement. Permits, timing, travel from Salt Lake City, cell service, what the flats look like in different seasons — it all matters.
I put together a full planning guide on the blog covering everything from the drive out of SLC to which areas require a Special Use Permit.
Link in bio — read it before you book anything.
DM me if you're ready to start planning. 🤍

The Utah salt flats are one of the most open and beautiful landscapes I’ve seen.

You have the mountains in the background, the endless stretch of white, and sometimes even reflections after rain… it really feels like a place like no other.

If you’re someone who wants to elope somewhere with no crowds and no distractions, this is definitely a location to consider.

It’s very quiet, very open… and that changes how your day feels.

You’re not rushing. You’re not being watched.

You’re just present with each other.

And the photos here are honestly unreal.
They’re clean, minimal, and very different from anything you’d get in a more traditional setting.

You can also turn it into a full experience — stay nearby, slow things down, and make it feel like an intimate weekend instead of just a few hours.

If you’re dreaming about something like this, I’d love to guide you through it and photograph it in a way that feels true to you.
You can always DM me — I’m happy to talk it through with you.
