I bought this on a whim to be honest. I had bought enough bourbon tonight to last most people all year. I like to break it up as I really do enjoy a nice scotch.

This 10 yr Glenmorangie finished in Bourbon Cask is heaven on the palate. On the nose it's light and fresh, with a little peat coming through with orange peel. On the palate I pick up orange zest, a faint peat, aromatic that lingers on the tongue with a hint of bourbon and a floral aroma with a mild dark chocolate on the lingering warm finish.

Perfect as a dessert scotch. Pairs well with cheesecake, chocolate cake and creme brûlée.

This is now in my new Top 5 in my scotch collection.

AUSTIN UPDATE!!! 🤩😍

I'm in joyous tears as I write!

First I want to publicly give all the Glory to Our Lord Jesus Christ! Thank You Jesus!! We want to thank our Prayer Warriors for your diligence in prayer so continue!! 🙏🏻💜

Austin's PA called moments ago and there is NO EVIDENCE OF MELANOMA IN THE SPINE!! 🙌🏻 🌟

What this means and where we go from here: There’s still a solid chance that the LMD is still on the brain. However, it’s confirmed that it was caught ... the earliest possible because it’s NOT floating in the spinal fluid or attached to the spine!! 🙌🏻🌟

What we are praying for: The next scan on January 11th shows the cancer is GONE! It will take a miracle - but that’s what we are praying for!! Today a miracle happened so we all know without a doubt miracles happen! 🌟

Stay diligent in your prayers for Austin in complete healing OUR Prayer Warriors!

Family, Friends & Prayer Warriors my I have your undivided attention for a moment.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is going to be intense for all of us. We, as a Powerful Group of Believers, ask you to pray for my son Austin as he goes in tomorrow for his Spine MRI. Below is his wife Kate's own words.

Ok so tomorrow is Austin's spine MRI at 8 pm (yes I said pm) even though I’m trying to get it moved up.

Our specific prayer tonight and tomorrow is this: That there is no cancer in his spine. That the brain spot is forever gone. That our oncologists are beyond pleased with the results and no additional bad surprises. That he continues to feel well enough to do stuff. So please pray for him too!!! And anyone else that you know prays for him. We deff need a miracle!!!!!!! And I know we can get one. We've seen them before.

I really want to thank everyone for checking on us. We are pretty heartbroken about the news we received yesterday.
So there are two layers that protect the brain. Cancer can cross through, but it’s hard for drugs to. When Austin had the brain tumors 2 years ago, that was essentially the first layer and it was a miracle then that the drugs were able to even pe*****te the first layer. Well, the melanoma has now invaded the second layer - the layer virtually impossible for drugs to pe*****te because there is too much to cross through. There aren’t many good options to combat this. Because this is so rare there’s hardly any data on it, but we’ve heard this song before. On top of this, austin has pneumonia. It’s a lot to take in at once. It’s a lot of trauma at once. We need a couple of days to adjust to the news, process it, and get back into the fight. These next few weeks are full of tests, surgeries, probably tears, and miracle praying. Please please please keep our tiny family in your prayers!!.
