That 40-megawatt smile makes it hard to tell, but I’m pretty sure an 8 a.m. Sunday morning photo shoot wasn’t exactly Michael’s idea of a perfect weekend! By the time most coffee pots were just getting started, we were already out in the middle of a cotton field, and he was such a good sport about it (I only got five or six long, exasperated looks).

We spent some time at his favorite places before wrapping up the morning in The Corral for the “Stallion Special,” with Mom guest-starring in a few shots. I can’t believe we’re only a month away from the halfway mark of senior year. Everybody loves Mike! 🤍

Mason’s senior pictures were so good that they’re getting two posts! When I start planning a senior session, I always ask them to make a list of things they love to do. I’ve traveled all over and photographed all sorts of things, but when Mason suggested coonhunting, my answer was an immediate “absolutely!”

Mason came prepared with a plan, and we packed a lot into our day. We spent part of it “at work,” had a successful hunt with friends, searched for Elliott in the woods, and even made our way to the football field to preserve just a taste of what it’s like to be a Stallion (you’ll have to wait just a little longer to see those!).

I couldn’t have asked for a better person to introduce me to my first blue-collar experience (I did, in fact, learn how to put on a welding mask) or a better guide for a trek that was supposedly “just a little ways” through the woods. Mason is an absolutely incredible young man, and getting to capture the things that make him who he is was a whole lot of fun! Stay tuned for the second collection of images from his gallery 📸🤍

It’s hard to believe Sammy is already a senior! It’s been so much fun watching him grow and evolve as both an athlete and a young man. He braved an early morning shoot, and we made the most of those golden sunrays, capturing his personality, favorite hobbies, and all the little things that make him who he is.

What an afternoon of sunshine! Charlie brought the perfect smile, an even better attitude, and a few hidden talents to the session (who knew he could juggle?!). The Caulder family is always a joy to work with. They come with a creative eye, a collection of meaningful heirlooms, and a natural magnetism that the camera loves. Getting to capture these milestones for a family is such a special part of what I do!

One of my greatest privileges as a photographer is getting to capture the special moments in the lives of the people I love most. Spending an afternoon photographing my best friend in the most meaningful dress she’ll ever wear was one of those moments I’ll always treasure. 🤍

Y’all want to talk about some FUN pictures?! Seth and I had a great afternoon climbing scoreboards, repping that State ring, channeling our inner Ralph Lauren, and making water skiing a formal occasion.

But the best part? Mirroring his dad’s senior session and recreating a few memories of his own. That special touch made all the effort worth it! 🤍
